PURPOSE: A shifting locking apparatus of a manual transmission is provided to restrict shifting by locking a link member with fitting a protruded end of the link member to a groove of a locking member in parking, and to prevent accidents by constraining traveling without releasing parking. CONSTITUTION: A shifting locking device of a manual transmission is composed of a shift lever(31) installed in a vehicle room for shifting by a driver; a first shift cable(32) transmitting operational force of the shift lever; a link member(37) connected to a vehicle body through a hinge, and rotated in pulling the first shift cable; a second shift cable(35a) connected to the lower part of the link member to operate a synchronizer of the manual transmission in rotating the link member; and a locking unit preventing shifting by locking the link member. Accidents are prevented by restricting traveling without releasing parking.
