PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling apparatus of gas turbine suction air to increase the output and prevent each blade of an air compressor from damaging by lessening the waterdrop diameter, and securely cooling the air when atomizing the water into the sucked air, and vaporizing the waterdrop after cooling of the air. SOLUTION: This cooling apparatus for the gas turbine suction air is provided with a suction air silencer 12 set in a suction chamber 1, an atomizer 11 arranged upper stream side of the suction air silencer 12 and atomizing the cooling water into the suction air, and a cooling water supplying system 14 supplying the cooling water to the atomizer.
