PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder which has, in the vicinity of the position of the optical scanning, a carrying means where the film is not affected by the outer peripheral velocity of the driven roller of the pair of outlet rollers, planarity is maintained, and no trouble is caused in the image forming. SOLUTION: In the image recorder in which one dimensional optical scanning is carried out on a sheet film, a carrying means containing a pair of entrance rollers and a pair of outlet rollers for carrying the sheet film in the subscanning direction approximately orthogonal to the above one dimensional scanning direction is provided. On a part located outside a position which is on the axis of the driven roller among the pair of outlet rollers and at which the sheet film is held, an annular driven roller core formed of an elastic body and integrated with the driven roller is prepared. This elastic body provides a gap between the driven roller and a driving roller.
