PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerated vehicle having improved reliability for avoiding increase in temperature inside a chamber, when an engine is stopped by surely executing the continuation of compressor operation due to the discharge of a rechargeable battery, when the engine is stopped for each engine stop, without having to adopt large-sized rechargeable batteries. SOLUTION: When a compressor 21 by the discharge of a set of batteries 43 is operated, the operation time is measured; and when the clocking T reaches limitation time T0, the operation of the compressor 21 is stopped. The limitation time T0 can be set and varied by the operation of a timer time setting switch 32b.
