PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the contents of an anomaly in direct-current power supply by storing the details of the anomaly in RAM on the power supply, easily reading the RAM data using equipment provided with a data communication function, and checking the data. SOLUTION: An imaging device is provided with a printer 100 including operator input means 21 to 24, display means 26d and 26f, and control means 61 and 51; and a power supply unit 80 including a first circuit 4 which supplies power to the printer high load, a second circuit 5 which supplies power to a control system, output anomaly-detecting means VSEN11, ISEN12, 7i, and 7a which detect output failure at least in the first circuit 4, and DSP7 which supplies PWM pulses to the circuits 4 and 5. The DSP7 includes a PWM pulse generator 7e; and CPU7a which supplies data defining the PWM pulses thereto, writes the data of anomaly detected by the failure detecting means to RAM7c, and sends out the anomalous data in the RAM 7c to a communicating means, according to an instruction from the communicating means. |
