The invention relates to a composition in the form of a water-in-oil type emulsion, comprising a fatty phase O and an aqueous phase W. The inventive composition is characterised in that the W/O weight ratio is greater than 1 and said composition is oily. The invention also relates to the use thereof as an adjuvant for vaccines and to a vaccine preparation method.
