PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device which has a structure of alleviating energy barrier generated in the interface of an organic compound layer having a laminated structure. SOLUTION: By forming a mixture layer 105 consisting of a material constituting an organic compound layer (1) 102 and a material constituting an organic compound layer (2) 103 on the interface of the organic compound layer (1) 102 and the organic compound layer (2) 103, energy barrier generated between the organic compound layer (1) 102 and the organic compound layer (2) 103 can be alleviated.
