PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when reflection display area and transmission display area in pixels have a fixed layout relation in all pixels, and particularly, in the case of a delta array, occurrence of a lateral streak cannot be avoided, and the streak is viewed as the fixed streak, in a transmission/ reflection combined use type liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: In a pixel array of a stripe shape in the transmission/reflection combined use type liquid crystal display device, the fixed streak in the horizontal direction (column direction) is made inconspicuous, when the transmission type is dominant even in the transmission type display or transmission/reflection combined use type display, by placing respective pixels 11 so that the transmission display areas B in the pixels 11 are deviated each other only by a fixed distance dv to the row direction (vertical direction of Figure) between the pixels adjacent in the column direction (horizontal direction of Figure), and by expanding the pitch of the transmission display areas B to two times of the pixel pitch in the column direction.
