PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument with output, which can be used even under severe environment even without complicating its structure. SOLUTION: The measuring instrument is provided with a caliper 10 capable of outputting a measurement signal obtained by measurement and a connection cable 30 to be connected between the caliper 10 and a data processor and to transmit a signal between both of them. An engaging parts 21, 33 which can be mutually engaged and disengaged are provided on one side of the caliper 10 and the connection cable 30 respectively and a non-contact signal transmitting means 40 to transmit the measurement signal to the connection cable 30 in a non-contact state is provided inside the engaging part 33 on the side of the connection cable 30 and inside a slider 14 of the caliper 10 to face the engaging part 33 at a state that the engaging parts 21, 33 are mutually engaged. |
