PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and low cost rotary disconector for high- voltage power transmission which can maintain the state after the operation of a rotary contact of the disconector without using a special lock means, and can reduce in size and weight. SOLUTION: The rotation mechanism, which rotates a spindle 2 installed on a contact, has a warm gear 4b is attached to the lower end of the spindle 2. A warm 4a which engages with the warm gear 4b is connected with an output axis 3b of a motor 3a. A connection part 5, which can freely cut off the power, is installed between the lower end of the spindle 2 and a gear shaft 4c of the warm gear 4b. A handle mounting part which detachably mounts a handle which can manually rotate the spindle 2 is installed on the way in the spindle.
