PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the protective circuit of a fan surely from being immersed into water. SOLUTION: An air duct, interconnecting an air inlet 6a and an exhaust opening 10, is formed in a body case 5 which is fixed to the wall of a room and air in the room is exhausted through the air duct by driving a fan 9 mounted on the body case 5. A fuse, containing chamber 48 which communicates with the air duct, is formed in the body case 5 and a fuse 47, i.e., a protection circuit, for preventing overcurrent from flowing through the fan 9 is held in the fuse-containing chamber 48, while being clamped to float from the bottom face thereof. Even if water infiltrates into the fuse-containing chamber, the fuse can be prevented surely from being immersed in water and from misoperating, and thereby safety is enhanced.
