PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a block isocyanate group-containing resin composition having a good preservation stability and compatibility with a paint base resin and a thermosetting resin composition by using the same. SOLUTION: This block isocyanate group-containing resin composition contains a resin (C) obtained by modifying a resin (A) having >=2 block isocyanate groups having a specific molecular structure in the molecule with a specific monofunctional alcohol (B) to reduce a solubility parameter by substituting the substituent of the block isocyanate group with a group having a larger carbon number. This thermosetting resin composition is obtained by using the aforesaid block isocyanate group-containing resin composition.
