PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threaded fastener capable of clamping parts to be fastened without using expensive clamping tools and further being able to clamp the parts with higher critical axial tension and higher critical clamping torque than those of a conventional type without the necessity for improving its strength or enlarging its diameter. SOLUTION: The threaded fastener is provided, wherein by making the friction coefficient of its threaded surface less than 0.7 time smaller than that of its flange due to the application of stabilization agent for the friction coefficient to the threaded surface, its critical axial tension and critical clamping torque, to which the treaded fastener yields, are made higher than those in cases where these friction coefficients are mutually equal, so that the threaded fastener can clamp the parts to be fastened with the heightened tension and torque.
