PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller base isolation device which can smoothly roll a roller even if elastic deformation and plastic deformation of the roller and an upper and lower contact rolling face or the like are generated. SOLUTION: The roller base isolation device 1 is provided with a lower base 2, an intermediate base 3, an upper base 4, a roller support mechanism 5, which supports the intermediate base 3 freely movably in the X direction to the lower base 2 within a horizontal plane between the lower base 2 and the intermediate base 3, and the roller support mechanism 5a, which supports the upper base 4 freely movably in the Y direction to the intermediate base 3 within the horizontal plane between the intermediate base 3 and the upper base 4.
