PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional mobile phone that the user cannot confirm contents displayed on a liquid crystal display device 2 and enter characters or the like when a liquid crystal display section 1 and a keyboard section 3 are closed together. SOLUTION: In order to provide the mobile phone that the user can confirm contents displayed on the liquid crystal display device and enter characters or the like even when the liquid crystal display section 1 and the keyboard section 3 are closed together, a folding mechanism 15 is designed to accept a folding state of the mobile phone where the rear side of the liquid crystal display section 1 is in contact with the rear side of the keyboard section 3.
