PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality alarm for a residence which can be installed beautifully in a residence, whose daily testing operation confirmation is performed easily and which can be tested surely. SOLUTION: The abnormality alarm 1 for a residence provided with an abnormality detection circuit 2 for detecting abnormality in security such as the occurrence of a fire, breaking into the residence, a reporting circuit 3 for reporting abnormality based on the output of abnormality from the circuit 2 and an operation confirming circuit 4 having a test switch SW for performing the testing operation confirmation of the circuit 2, is provided with external connection terminals 5 and 5 to be connected with an external test switch 6 for the testing operation confirmation.
