PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a (meth)acrylic acid ester, having a low odor, which is capable of sufficiently diluting a base resin, curable in a short time through crosslinking, and hence forms a curable resin excellent in physical properties. SOLUTION: The (meth)acrylic acid dialkylene glycol monoester is prepared by esterification between a dialkylene glycol monool with a refined purity of 90% or above, where an alcohol or a phenol is added to an alkylene oxide through ring-opening reaction, and a (meth)acrylic acid.
