<p>To produce a tubular ribbon (3), a longitudinal strip is cut from a material which spontaneously curls into a tube, to give a variety of trimming effects e.g. jewelry (4). The ribbon tubes are secured together by a number of types of fastenings (10,11,12,14,15). The ribbon tubes can also be bunched together into beads. The material can be of polymers, a tricot or with shape memory to roll spontaneously.</p> |
