PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing ruthenium perovskite that solves a problem of a conventional ruthenium perovskite synthetic method, which is of a high temperature and a complicated manufacturing process and a high cost, and in which an obtained product has a small specific surface area, a poor purity and a poor highly crystalline characteristics, and a directly synthesizing method on a catalyst carrier or other carrier is not developed. SOLUTION: Perovskite represented by the chemical formula: LaRuO3 (wherein, La is oxygen 12 coordinated lanthanum, Ru is oxygen 6 coordinated ruthenium and O is oxygen) is manufactured by reacting an aqueous solution containing La metal ion and an aqueous solution containing Ru metal ion with a precipitate formation solution in a reaction vessel, forming a hydroxide precipitate of La and Ru and carrying out heating treatment of the precipitate. A coating layer of LaRuO3 can be formed by depositing, adhering or coating the above precipitate on the catalyst carrier or other carrier and after that, carrying out heating treatment. Ruthenium perovskite obtained by the above method is used for a catalyst of an oxidation reaction of a hydrocarbon without forming carbon monoxide, the catalyst of the oxidation reaction of carbon monoxide or the catalyst of a NOx reduction reaction by carbon monoxide or the hydrocarbon. |
