PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk which has two or more recording layers, a flying slider that has a high NA objective lens to carry out recording and reproducing on the recording layers of an optical disk and is miniaturized at a low cost, and its information processing method. SOLUTION: The light beam 1 is radiated from the side of the recording layers 7 and 8, and an objective lens 3 is provided for reproducing, recording and erasing. A motor 21 is built in to rotate the optical disk 6. A flying slider 2 with a built-in objective lens 3 is provided to float on the optical disk 6. A controller 25 of the motor 21 controls the revolution of the disk 6 at different linear speeds to change the floating amount of the flying slider 2 so that the light beam 1 is correctly focused on each of the recording layers 7 and 8 of the optical disk 6.
