摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating device for heating an image formed on a recording material, capable of reducing temperature ripples of a heating member, and optimizing power supply even if an input impedance of the device varies. SOLUTION: The induction heating device 106 is conducted for heating an image formed on the recording material P, and has (1) a heat generation member 1, and an exciting coil 2 for generating a magnetic field for inducing eddy current in the heat generation member, and further includes a heating means 4 for heating the image formed on the recording material,(2) a temperature detecting element 8 for detecting the temperature of the heat generation member, and (3) a control means for controlling an energizing frequency to the exciting coil so as to maintain the temperature detected by the temperature detecting element at a set temperature, and is characterized in that the input impedance of the heating means is variable, and the control means controls the energizing frequency according to the temperature detected by the temperature detecting element and the information on the input impedance of the heating means.
