摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector which ensures ionization of a molecular beam and which can reduce intensity of a laser beam to be output from a laser irradiating means. SOLUTION: The molecular beam 13, introduced into a vacuum chamber 12 from a capillary column 14, is irradiated with the laser beam 15 so as to be converted into ions. The ions are converged in an ion convergence part 17 and are sent to a time-of-flight mass spectrometer 21 from an ion trap 18. A plurality of prisms 31 to 34 as a first group are arranged at the outside of a quartz window 12a, and a plurality of prisms 41 to 43 as a second group and a mirror 50 are arranged at the outside of a quartz window 12b. The laser beam 12 which is irradiated into the vacuum chamber 12 is reflected in the plurality of numbers of times between the plurality of prisms 31 to 34 as the first group and the plurality of prisms 41 to 43 as the second group and the mirror 50, and moreover it surely passes through one point P inside the vacuum chamber 12.
