PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new bis-type dye compound useful as spectral sensitivity increasing dye. SOLUTION: This dye compound is represented by formula 1 (wherein R<1> and R<2> are each an aliphatic group or an aromatic group; R<3> -R<6> are each an aliphatic group; any arbitrary two of the R<3> and R<4> or R<5> and R<6> may be bonded to form a ring; L<1> -L<4> are each a methine group that may have a substituent group, and in the case that L<1> -L<4> represent each a methine group having a substituent the substituent may be bonded to form an unsaturated aliphatic ring or an unsaturated heterocyclic ring; R<7> and R<8> are each hydrogen atom, a fatty group, an aromatic group or a heterocyclic group, and R<7> and R<8> is each a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic group, an aromatic group or a heterocyclic group, and R<7> and R<8> may be bonded to form a ring or bonded to Q; Q is a divalent conjugated group or a univalent bond group; (m) and (n) are each an integer of 1 to 3; X<-> is a group capable of forming an anion). |
