<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion joint, the connecting part of bellows of which will not be damaged, even with repeated expansion and contraction in a short period. SOLUTION: The expansion joint comprises bellows 43 for absorbing the expansion and contraction of ducts 65 and 67, a pair of flanges 45 and 47 mounted on ends of the bellows 43, and a pair of support members 49 and 51 which are disposed between the flanges 45 and 47 and the bellows 43, so as to be in contact with the bellows 43 respectively and which have a shape corresponding to the bellows-shape. The pair of support members 49 and 51 are secured on the flanges 45 and 47 respectively, so as to be separable from the bellows 43.</p> |
