<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary washing device which prevents burnout of a warm water tank unit from being caused by performing heating operations of the warm water tank unit in a state where there is no water inside, without reference to an attitude of the warm water tank unit. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a toilet seat, a washing means for washing a private part of a human body, and the warm water tank unit 7 which supplies warm water to the washing means. The unit 7 is composed of a warm water tank 1 where the warm water is stored, a warm water heater 5, a thermistor 6, a heat-sensitive plate 8 for conducting heat of the heater 5 to the thermistor 6, and a control circuit 4 for controlling the heater 5. The heat of the heater 5 is conducted to the thermistor 6 via the plate 8 without reference to the attitude of the unit 7 in a case where there is no water in the tank 1, in order to detect an abnormal rise in surface temperature of the heater 5 before the burnout of the unit 7.</p> |
