PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a granular composition improved in granulating property without being affected by content, kind and properties of an agrochemically active ingredient, and to provide a method for producing the granular composition. SOLUTION: The granular composition is obtained by formulating the agrochemically active ingredient with high-purity quartz powder as essential raw material components and granulating the formulation by an extrusive granulation method. The method for producing the granular composition is characterized by formulating the agrochemically active ingredient with high- purity quartz powder as essential raw material components and granulating the formulation by the extrusive granulation method. As a result, the granular composition improved in granulating property can be obtained without being affected by content, kind and properties of the agrochemically active ingredient and a set particle diameter of the granular composition, compared with conventional compositions.
