PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave shielding material without plated metals fallen out and the like causing dust and trouble of electronic instruments. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic wave shielding material 100A comprises a conductive nonwoven cloth 200A, and a conductive thin film 300A applied on a single side or both sides of the conductive nonwoven cloth; and the conductive thin film 300A is bonded to the conductive nonwoven cloth 200A with an insulative bond 400A spirally or partially bonded. Consequently, the conductive nonwoven cloth 200A and the conductive thin film 300A are mutually conductive. The conductive nonwoven cloth 200A covered with the conductive thin film 300A prevents the metals and the like from falling from the conductive nonwoven cloth 200A.
