PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of a flat belt in which the accurate measurement of the belt dimension is not required beforehand, joint work is easy, and the durable life of a joint part is long, and which can be firmly connected. SOLUTION: The joint structure of the joint part is so constituted that two columnar members 8 and 8', which are arranged in parallel at a prescribed distance between shafts and of which the each end part is connected and fixed by a connecting member 9, are arranged to the outer face of the flat belt 1 so that the longitudinal direction of the columnar member becomes the direction of a belt width, and at the same time, the belt inner circumference face B of an initial end part 2 side and the belt inner circumference face B' of a terminal end part 3 side are protruded in an opposing state each other to a gap 14 between the columnar members from the gap 14 in the direction C of the belt outer face, each protruded outer circumference face A and A' is bent so as to wind a core body 11 extending in the direction of the belt width, and moreover, the belt end parts 2 and 3 are held and fixed between the columnar members 8 and 8' and the flat belt body by inserting each bent belt end part 2 and 3 so as to protrude from the gap 14 in the direction D of a belt inner face.
