PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a high-density tatami bed material chiefly made of natural hemp fiber in place of a polystylene plate used for a tatami bed. SOLUTION: By using a vacuum thermo-compression device, unwoven sheets made of hemp fiber, cotton, synthetic resin, etc., and laminated woods are laminated to form a multi-layer via an adhesive, such as thermoplastic resin and other adhesive, then are sewn together to manufacture a hemp tatami mat.
