摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen coil spaces and to increase torque and levitation force by effectively using the spaces which have been wasteful in conventional motors. SOLUTION: A rotor 10 has a rotor magnet 12 magnetized into multiple poles. A stator 20 has rotating coils 26, which are made to face the rotor magnet 12 and make the rotor 10 generate torque, and coils 27 for bearings for generating bearing force in a direction which is orthogonal to the direction of the axis of rotation of the rotor 10. The rotating coils 26 and the coils 27 for bearings are arranged, so as not to overlap each other by shifting them in the circumferential direction; the motor has a displacement sensor for detecting the displacement of the rotor 10, with respect to a flat surface orthogonal to the direction of the axis of rotation of the rotor 10; and by rotating the rotor 10 with the rotating coils 26 and controlling energization of the coils 27 for bearings by the output of the displacement sensor, the rotation axis of the rotor 10 is held at a specified position.
