PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance assistance system for power generating facilities which quantitatively computes the replacement period of equipment and the power generation cost and determining the replacement period of the equipment relatively to the power generation cost by using the computation results. SOLUTION: One or more power generating facilities 5, a power generation company 1 which owns them, and a service center 2 are arranged while connected through a communication network 4, and the service center 2 periodically obtains plant data through the communication network 4 from various equipment constituting one or more power generating facilities 5, quantitatively computes an increment in the power generation cost of the power generating facilities including an increment in the power generation cost of the power generating facilities due to a decrease in the performance of equipment and the replacement cost for the equipment when diagnosing the performance of various equipment according to the plant data obtained from the equipment and detecting the equipment decreasing in performance, and reports equipment maintenance information including the computation result to the power generation company 1 which owns the equipment through the communication network 4. |
