PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing (2R,3S)-3-tert- butoxycarbonylamino-1,2-epoxy-4-phenylbutane((2R,3S)-epoxide form) and (2S,3 R)-3-tert-butoxycarbonylamino-1,2-epoxy-4-phenylbutane((2S,3R)-epoxide form) simply, without requiring very low-temperature condition and in a high recovering ratio. SOLUTION: In to a polar solvent solution dissolving the (2R,3S)-epoxide form or the (2S,3R)-epoxide form, crystallization of the desired epoxide is conducted by adding water. |
