PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device having two sets of C contact type switch, wherein the device can be used without short-circuiting a terminals each other in the outside, even when it is necessary to short-circuit a normally closed terminal with each other or even when it is not required to short-circuit it. SOLUTION: In a switch device 1, a connecting portion 18 between normally closed contacts (NC1 and NC2) of respective switches is installed in the state embedded in a base member 3 by insert molding or press fitting. In the base member 3, the connecting portion 18 is partially exposed to the outside and a recess 19 (or an opening) is formed so that the exposed portion can be cut easily (i.e., separatable).
