PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the reproducibility of an original picture by preventing picture data being delayed when forming a high resolution picture for which the process is performed at a relatively low speed, and suppressing an influence by noise at the time of reading the picture when forming the high resolution picture for which the process is performed at a relatively low speed. SOLUTION: A scanner part is provided with a CCD 26, an oscillator circuit 3, and controller 2 connected with an A-D converter 4. Based on the clock pulse inputted from the oscillator circuit 3, the controller 2 generates a driving clock pulse of a frequency according to the process speed data SEL inputted from a CPU 5 and supplies it to the CCD 26. The CCD 26 outputs a light receiving signal of a frequency according to the process speed, and in the case of high resolution, the middle and bottom parts of the waveform in the light receiving signal are extended compared with the case of low resolution, to form the horizontal part. Even if a timing to read a voltage level in the light receiving signal varies more or less, variation is not caused in reading, and the picture data is improved in an S/N. |
