SYSTEM FOR MODELING GRAPHICS OBJECT AND METHOD FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for modeling an object expressed by the wide range of selection of an input geometry, and to allow a user to correct this in real time. SOLUTION: In this system for modeling a graphics object, the model of a graphics object is provided at first, and then a generation parameter for designating fixed LOD(level-of-detail) and a conversion parameter for designating variable LOD(level-of-detail) are provided so that a graphics object can be modeled. An adaptively sampled distance field having the fixed LOD is generated from the model, and the adaptively sampled distance field is converted from the fixed LOD into the variable LOD while a rendering primitive is simultaneously generated.
