PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas stove with which a common casing is useable, even for one with a standard width, and even for one with wider width. SOLUTION: A gas stove comprises a casing 1 mounted by being dropped into from an opening 11 in a work top 10 in a kitchen, a plurality of stove burners disposed in the casing 1, a flange extended to the side from an upper end of the casing 1 in order to be placed on an edge of the opening 11 of the work top 10, a top plate covering the upper surface opening in the casing 1, and a stove hole provided in the top plate for exposing the stove burner. Herein, a side plate assisting plate 15 as another member from left and right side plates 4 is mounted on the side plates 4 of the casing 1, and a tip end of a lateral piece 15a is protruded to the side from the tip end of the flange 4a, while disposing the lateral piece 15a of the side plate assisting plate 15 along the flange 4a of the side plate 4. The top plate, having the same left and right widths as those of the interval between tip ends of the lateral pieces 15a of the left and right side plate assisting plates 15, is placed on the casing 1.
