PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved drive nut being able to prevent 'jam nut effect' occurring when a conventional blind fastener is fitted, a blind fastener with the drive nut and an assembling method of the fastener. SOLUTION: The drive nut 50 comprises a material hard to be deformed and contains a plurality of projections 56 engaging driving concave portions 46 belonging to a nut 40. When the fastener is assembled, the plurality of the projections 56 and the driving concave portions 46 are mutually engaged, so that the engaging state between the drive nut 50 and the nut 40 is kept till the fitting work of the fastener is accomplished. Besides, the drive nut can be provided with a smooth hole instead of a female screw, then causing the assembling time of the fastener to be sharply shortened.
