PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an acrylic resin emulsion having improved resistance to water by using an amino group-bearing acryl monomer. SOLUTION: An acryl monomer bearing amino group of which a part or the whole is neutralized with organic acid boiling at 80-150 deg.C and an alkyl (meth)acrylate are subjected together to the emulsion polymerization in the presence of a cationic or nonionic emulsifier.
