PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a stable oscillation to be started in a wide temperature range in an oscillation circuit for temperature correcting in response to a temperature change. SOLUTION: The oscillation circuit comprises an oscillation means 16 for executing an oscillating operation in an oscillation frequency according to a control signal by including at least one variable capacitance element for regulating the oscillation frequency, a temperature detecting means 11, an A/D converter 12, a data conversion means 13 for outputting control data to be used for controlling the oscillation frequency of the oscillation means, an oscillation detecting means 15, and a signal switching means 14 for supplying the control signal for setting a capacity value based on the control data to the oscillation means when the oscillating operation is executed and supplying the control signal for setting the capacity value of a predetermined value or less to the oscillation means when the oscillating operation is not executed.
