PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suitable composition for industrial use of which the composition for transportation and/or storage of the compound with a cyclohexane ring and/or aromatic ring having a hydroxyalkyl group, for further particulars, transportation and/or storage of such compound is easy and decomposition and discoloring can be controlled, moreover production of polyester or the like is made easy. SOLUTION: The invention comprises, the compound with a cyclohexane ring and/or aromatic ring having at least one hydroxyalkyl group of which the melting point of the compound is 30 deg.C or more, and the composition for transportation and/or storage of the compound with cyclohexane ring and/or aromatic ring having a hydroxyalkyl group, containing a medium which can dissolve the compound.
