PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding-up device capable of accurately folding up printing paper sheets, and easily, strongly, and inexpensively manufacturable. SOLUTION: This folding-up device for the printing paper sheets 3 has a saddle-shaped folding-up knife 18 continuously folding up the printing paper sheets 3 on the knife, and having an internal guide mechanism 26, and an external folding-up mechanism 38 extending in parallel for cooperating with this guide mechanism 26 for folding up the printing paper sheets 3. The internal guide mechanism 26 is arranged under a stationary folding-up edge part 22.
