PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of opening-closing operation of an automatic door by accurately detecting an object existing in a detecting area on a track in an automatic door sensor for detecting the existence of the object on the track of the automatic door. SOLUTION: Auxiliary sensors 51 and 52 are arranged on outdoor side and indoor side surfaces 31 and 32 of a transom 3. Detecting areas A1, A2, B1 and B2 of the respective sensors 51 and 52 are set so as to pass through a door opening part 2, and are crossed in a vertical upper part of the track T. When transmitting a detecting signal from both auxiliary sensors 51 and 52, a door opening state is maintained. Door closing operation is started when continued for a prescribed time in a state of transmitting the detecting signal only from one auxiliary sensor 51 (52). |
