PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a base station detects the azimuth of a mobile station using uplink circuit signals including a high capacity of data information transmitted from the mobile station but, if the mobile station does not transmit data information, the base station cannot form a beam form suited to the mobile station, resulting in some interference. SOLUTION: A base station executes an adaptive array process to control the directivity based on angle information from outside, and transmits/receives signals through a common channel and individual channels. Mobile stations detect the azimuth of the base station based on signals received by a first and second antennas from the base station, and feedback it to the mobile stations, thus constituting a mobile communication system. |
