PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peripheral device control method, a peripheral device control system, a program and a storage medium capable of acquiring, setting and recording information that can be designated for local and language information from an external through a communication means. SOLUTION: This peripheral device control system has a RAM 202 that holds attribute information representing the functions of peripheral devices (scanner engine 207, printer engine 208, FAX board 209) and the states of the peripheral devices, a communication interface 206 that acquires the attribute information stored in the RAM 202, from the external through the communication means, and makes settings, and a DISK 210 that stores a plurality of pairs of the setting source of the attribute information and the setting content, and, within the attribute information, the information that can be designated for the area and language information is included. |
