SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REVERSE AUCTIONING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for reverse auctioning, which enables an auctioneer not to let a bidder win a contract called for bids just because of a price. SOLUTION: A system for reverse auctioning 10 furnishes weighting factors for orders which correspond to the order conditions for design and manufacturing activities set by an orderer 11. Bidders 12 enter each bidding condition for a plurality of the orders into the system for reverse auctioning 10. The system furnishes the bidding conditions set by the bidders 12 by converting them into points. The bidders 12 make a correction to a first bid in response to the furnished points. The system again calculates the points for a plurality of the bids and selects the bidder who wins a contract based upon the points being corrected.
