<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking lot management system enabling a parking lot to be rented on a short term contract for unspecified number of the general public even if there is no special equipment investment such as an entrance gate of a parking lot and a departure blocking device, thereby promoting high utilization of the monthly parking lot being rented on a long term contract or the like and the parking lot of commerce facilities which have conventionally been low in availability thereof. SOLUTION: In the parking lot management system for managing the parking lot with a plurality of parking squares, there are provided an application terminal in which a vehicle number and an application signal indicating the application intention for the parking lot can be input, a storage means for storing an application state associated with a user's vehicle number upon receiving the vehicle number and application signal from the application terminal and an application status display terminal for displaying the application state in present time by the vehicle number. In the parking lot, a parking number counting device is provided which counts a change of the number of vehicles in the parking lot, and also an unauthorized parking detecting means is provided which detects unauthorized parking by the change of the number of vehicles detected by the parking number counting device and the application state of the parking lot.</p> |
