PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating roof capable of minimizing the breakage or falling thereof and extending the usable range without having a limitation for setting position by constituting it so as to be hardly influenced by a wind even when receiving, for example, the wind blowing up from under. SOLUTION: In this floating roof, a roof sheet part 2 is lifted up from under and floated by a balloon-like body 1. A window extracting hole part 3 is formed in the roof sheet part 2, the upper part of the balloon-like body 1 is engageably and disengageably inserted to the hole part 3 so as to be separable by the wind pressure.
