Beta amino alkyl - phosphine, - phosphite, - phosphonite and -phosphinite chiral ligands (I) are new. Beta amino alkyl - phosphine, - phosphite, - phosphonite and - phosphinite chiral ligands of formula (I) and their complexes with transition metals are new. R1 = H, saturated or unsaturated aliphatic radical, saturated, unsaturated or aromatic carbocyclic radical, or a radical that is both aliphatic and carbocyclic; i = 0-12; n, m, r = 0 or 1; R2, R3 = aromatic or saturated carbocyclic group, that may be attached to one another through a C-C bond. Independent claims are included for: (1) complexes of (I) with a transition metal;and (2) the use of these complexes as asymmetric catalysts, with or without a chiral diamine. |
