<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield treating structure and a treating method in a multi-core shield electric wire to surely obtain electric contact between a grounding wire and a shield covering member, and to surely prevent short circuits between the grounding wire and a core wire, or between core wires. SOLUTION: The multi-core shield electric wire 1 is sandwiched between a pair of resin members 10, 11 having respectively recessed parts 10b, 11b to correspond to the outer cross section shape of the multi-core shield electric wire 1, and is positioned to fit in the respective recessed parts 10b, 11b. One end side of the grounding wire 13 mediates between the multi-core shield electric wire 1 and the resin member 10. Under these conditions, a conducting electric wire 13a is brought into contact with an aluminum foil covering member 6 by placing an ultrasonic vibrator between the pair of resin members 10, 11, the outer cross-sectional shape of the multi-core shield electric wire 1 treated to form the shape of an ellipse before the ultrasonic welding.</p> |
