PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a potential fixing apparatus capable of preventing a total sum charge quantity of a connecting line between a first capacity and a second capacity from changing even when the potential of a connecting line between the first capacity and the second capacity is fixed in the case where the first capacity and the second capacity are directly connected to each other. SOLUTION: This potential fixing apparatus is provided with a voltage supply circuit 1 having a first high resistance 3 and a second high resistance 4 and adapted to keep constant the potential in a signal line 17 connecting a capacity 14 to be measured and a fixed capacity 15 while keeping the total sum charge quantity of the capacity 14 to be measured and the fixed capacity 15. An output terminal 5 of the voltage supply circuit 1 is connected to the signal line 17.
